... commemorating this street's legacy as the location of Vancouver's first "hotel" bar, opened by Gassy Jack, who turned Vancouver from a logging camp into the sleazy town we all know and love today.

all night she was walking around in this fabulous costume playing her character, Birdie, and alongside her was this younger woman with bleached hair, super tight jeans, a very lowcut bustier and fur shrug, and pounds of ghetto bling ... she looked so "ghetto booty" and talked with such a drawl that everyone thought she was a performer ... after all, they made this great "then and now" image together ... but at the end of the show, Debbie/"Birdie" told us that the other woman was the real thing, and had just latched onto her at the beginning of the show and tagged around with her all night!
